I don't see the job as just writing, supporting and voting on bills, but being part of the team that moves the district forward. I believe it is time for District 40 to have representation in our State Government that is accessible, accountable and transparent. If you share that belief, I am asking for your vote.

Carol Miller has been a political activist since she was a teen. Her campaign experience includes assisting her father with multiple successful political campaigns in Virginia, as well as managing an equally successful city council campaign in North Carolina.
Family has always been Carol’s highest priority, and her dedication to building a more secure, principled society for her grandchildren continues to inspire her involvement in public life and political advocacy.
Carol's degree in history with a focus on Germany’s interwar years has significantly informed her understanding of today’s national and geopolitical challenges and strengthened her commitment to supporting candidates and policies that move the country and the state of Alabama forward rather than backward.
For more than forty years, Carol has been devoted to building local, sustainable food systems. She has founded multiple farmers markets, served on the boards of many others, as well as creating and marketing her own line of locally sourced value-added products.
In addition to her political, civic, and entrepreneurial work, Carol is also a former professional singer and vocal instructor, believing that the arts are one of our most effective agents for enacting social change.
